Having gone to school in Surrey I went to Edinburgh University in 1985 to train as a vet and revisit my Scottish roots. I then spent 3 years in mixed practice in East Anglia before realising that small animal work was where my future lay.
I joined Bell Brown and Bentley in March 1994 initially working at Wigston and London Road before moving to work mostly at Leicester Forest East.
I am interested in all areas of veterinary medicine from general surgery to challenging medical cases. I love the fact that we never stop learning and moving forward in the job. I feel very lucky to be in a profession with such a wide variety of patients to treat and problems to solve, as well as one that brings such job satisfaction.
At home I have two ginger cats called Mac and Morris, and three children. I love spending time with the kids but also enjoy reading, going to the gym and listening to music when I have some time to myself.
