We offer a variety of health checks
Getting a new puppy, kitten or young rabbit is extremely exciting, especially if it’s your first pet. It’s important that you have done lots of research about your chosen breed, and that you give the new addition to your family the best possible start in life.
At Bell, Brown and Bentley we recommend that you bring your new pet to see one of our vets once a month until they’re six months old. This is so that their growth and development can be monitored to ensure they grow into a happy and healthy animal.
You and your furry friend will see a veterinary nurse when you bring your pet for a check-up. Our nurses are full of great information and tips that will help you raise your pet. They can discuss anything from weight and dietary requirements to cleaning your pet’s teeth, so don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Once your pet is six months old you will only need to bring them for a general check-up once a year. If you have any concerns about their health in between visits however, book an appointment to see one of our vets as soon as possible.
